School Science Curriculum Milestones
Science week - March 25
We've enjoyed a busy and exciting week of whizzes, pops and bangs in celebration of Science Week! Thanks to support from the School Association, we have enjoyed visits from Devon Science and School of Noise and were also able to buy some more scientific equipment for use in the classrooms. The children have had great fun getting stuck in to a series of hands-on experiments throughout the week. In addition, the children in KS1 welcomed marine biologists Matt and Charlotte for an afternoon of learning about aquatic minibeasts and the impact of plastic pollution on marine life. Throughout the school it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm and inquisitiveness as they have formulated hypotheses, noted their observations, analysed their results and discussed their findings.
